This iconic historic building was in bad shape. The specific purpose of its rehabilitation was to transform it into an information center where the visitors of El Bosque de Chapultepec, could learn about it´s historical, cultural and environmental heritage and also of its activities and the specific details of the attractions that can be visited. The total cost of renovation was $29,230,479.78 (mexican pesos). The museum exhibit design and its setting was carried out by Siete Colores, while the executive project was lead by architect Gabriel Merigo.
