Chapultepec park is a free, safe, and inclusive public space that is located within the Miguel Hidalgo Municipality. It is divided into four sections.
The first section is delimited by Constituyentes, Paseo de la Reforma, Chivatito, and Periférico avenues. To access it by public transport there are two nearby subway stations.
Chapultepec station (pink line, direction Observatorio/Pantitlán), and Auditorio station (orange line, direction El Rosario Rosario/Barranca del Muerto).
The access can also be through Metrobús lines: Chapultepec, Gandhi and Antropologia stations are the closest.
On the other hand, and due to its location, there are various routes and public transport stops (buses) in which you can reach this section of the Park
To get to the Second Section, the closest subway station is Constituyentes (orange line, direction Rosario/Barranca del Muerto).
By private car, the access can be via Constituyentes Av., Lomas Av., or, Fernando Alencastre.
Currently, the first and second sections are connected thanks to the new causeway that opened in January 2023. The “floating causeway” (pedestrian bridge), crosses the Periférico highway and links connects Section 1, at the Los Pinos Cultural Complex, with Section 2 at the Avenida de los Compositores.
