This space was under great urban stress because of it´s surrounding roads, which is why it was so important to recover and define its boundaries. It is located in Paseo de la Reforma between Moliere and Campos Elíseos and belongs to the First Section of El Bosque de Chapultepec.
The restoration work is part of the ongoing stage 4 of the First Section Master Plan. $9,285,818.72 pesos have been invested, thanks to the support of donors such as Grupo Salinas, Alfredo Harp Helú Foundation, Philip Morris and Scotiabank.
The recovery started with the assessment of soil, arboreal and shrub vegetation, and continued with the integration of branches and leaves, and the arrangement of trees. Grasslands were planted, the existing pedestrian structure was rehabilitated, an irrigation system was installed, and the lighting in the walkways was rehabilitated.
