Lomas Park Avenue is on the west side of the 2nd Section of Chapultepec Forest, between Lomas Avenue and Dolores Cemetery. It has an extension of 3.9 ha and forms part of the guiding axes of the Master Plan of this section of the Forest.
The installations of this park have deteriorated and are in disuse. It is for this reason that it is hoped that the space be transformed and offered as a multi-purpose sports and family area as well as to connect it with a pedestrian area with the 2nd Section of Chapultepec to facilitate its access.
The project includes 14 general actions, which propose improvements for the different problems presented by the Park; they are the following:
Sports vocation
In the park there will be 4 sports fields, of which 3 are Soccer 7 and the other is multipurpose, allowing the diversification of users.
Multipurpose court:
The multipurpose court is an open court with a perimeter bench made of boulder stone. It includes both goals and basketball board. It has special lighting for courts, composed of 4 poles, each with two luminaires.
Football 7 fields: In the park there are three soccer fields with measures of 50 x34 m each. Each one has a special lighting system, for each field there are 12 luminaires. The location of each field on the ground is related to the topography of the field. On the side of the walker you enter the field and on the other surface contain retaining walls embraced by slopes of vegetation. The fields have a system of green bleachers made with cobble concrete pavement with special design and contents with vegetated slopes where appropriate.
