At this stage, the last kilometer of the iconic wrought iron fence dating back to the early twentieth century was built. The project was done by the Pro Bosque de Chapultepec Trust Fund and the Distrito Federal Government (GDF). It covered the stretches between Circuito Interior and the Monumental Lions Gate, and also Circuito interior to Reforma. The overall investment was $10,290,570.28 pesos, of which $ 2,011,031.13 came from the Pro Bosque de Chapultepec Trust Fund. The remaining sum was provided by the Mexico City Government.
