One of the First Section´s key avenues thanks to its layout, size, and location, as it connects the Molino del Rey with the Cerro del Chapulín. Nezahualcóyotl planted a strip of Ahuehuetes on this road. This species, whose name means “Old man of the water“ was designated the National tree in 1921. The area was remodeled as part of the first stage of the Master Plan. Likewise, resting areas were created and new Ahuehuetes were planted.
