This project focuses on one of the most frequented areas of the park’s First Section—the surroundings of the A1 food kiosk—which, despite its strategic location, has long been marginalized and excluded from modernization and comprehensive improvement efforts. The area is currently perceived as a deteriorated, disorganized space disconnected from the contemporary vision of the park.
The proposal seeks to reverse this condition through an exemplary intervention centered on early childhood, the right to public space, sustainability, and the dignification of the commercial experience.
The main goal is to transform three secondary entrances into thematic corridors for early childhood, inviting play, exploration, and learning. Each corridor will focus on a different theme—Nature, Adventure, and Water—and will integrate playful elements, native vegetation, earth-based building techniques, and furniture designed with principles of inclusion, safety, sustainability, and local storytelling.
The project aims to dignify the park’s spaces by recognizing and valuing the experience of those who know them best—the vendors—and their potential as strategic allies in a process of social, ecological, and economic transformation. Through participatory design and child-led activation, the proposal envisions children as guides of the experience, turning these entrances into pathways of discovery leading toward new gastronomic hubs celebrated for their identity, quality, and cultural roots.
