The rehabilitation of the Quijote Fountain was carried out under the architectural direction of the Grupo de Diseño Urbano (GDU) office led by architect Mario Schjetnan. The restoration project was executed by Sakbé S.A. de C.V., in coordination and collaboration with the authorities of Mexico City, Chapultepec Forest, the Citizen Steering Council, and the Chapultepec Forest Trust.
