Actions Taken:
- Part of the Master Plan of the Second Section, designed by architect Mario Schjetnan, this mobility project organized and structured circulation throughout the area, prioritizing pedestrians
- Construction of a 3.5 km exclusive circuit for cyclists and a separate 3.5 km circuit for runners.
- Construction of a dedicated lane for internal public transport.
- Construction of two lanes for motor vehicles.
- Creation of seven plaza streets, integrated with rehabilitated walkways and new pedestrian routes, ensuring free access for all visitors.
- Resurfacing of 39,500 meters of circuits and adjacent streets.
- Construction of 16,500 m² of sidewalks.
- Recovery of 15,000 m² of green areas.
- Planting of 418 jacaranda trees.
- Installation of 205 solar LED lights.
- The design was structured around defined lanes for pedestrians, recreational internal transport, motor vehicles, cyclists, runners, and landscaping.
- Total investment of 90 million pesos, funded by the Government of Mexico City in collaboration with the Fideicomiso Pro Bosque de Chapultepec and the Citizen Steering Council.
