If you want to run with your pet, you can do so around the Lago Mayor in the Second Section of Chapultepec Forest. 

The surface is concrete, which can be harder on the knees, but the view is very pleasant. The circuit is 1.4 km of flat terrain and can also be done by bicycle.

There are no restrooms, and you can park next to the Water Garden Museum or at El Sope.
