With the goal of involving more people in restoration efforts and strengthening a community united by a common purpose, a series of reforestation days were launched in 2002 with organized groups from schools, universities, companies, and non-governmental organizations. Following their success, a long-term Volunteering Program was established to promote social responsibility in the care and maintenance of Chapultepec Forest.
The program raises awareness among visitors through activities focused on conservation and the recovery of public space, while also reinforcing a democratic spirit in which citizens play a key role.
We extend our gratitude to the companies that have joined the Chapultepec Forest Volunteering Program.
