Located halfway up the path to Chapultepec Castle, the Caracol Museum presents the history of Mexico from the final years of the viceregal period to the promulgation of the 1917 Constitution. Through artworks, dioramas, scale models, and interactive elements, it guides visitors on an educational journey that illustrates key moments in the nation’s history.
Built in 1960 by architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, this unique museum features a cylindrical structure where a spiral divides the space into four floors.
