Cencalli is one of the venues that make up the Food Culture Center, along with the Guillermo Bonfil Batalla Documentation Center, the Agroecological Market El Solar, among others.

It is located in what was once the historic Molino del Rey building, which served as the headquarters of the Presidential General Staff within Los Pinos.

Cencalli’s objective is to showcase to the general public the country’s food biodiversity, techniques, art, and the culture surrounding both ancestral and contemporary culinary knowledge.
