{"id":27201,"date":"2025-08-06T18:55:54","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T00:55:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.chapultepec.org.mx\/?post_type=proyecto&#038;p=27201"},"modified":"2025-11-11T16:22:05","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T22:22:05","slug":"rehabilitacion-de-la-azotea-verde-del-jb-un-esfuerzo-colaborativo","status":"publish","type":"proyecto","link":"https:\/\/www.chapultepec.org.mx\/en\/proyecto\/rehabilitacion-de-la-azotea-verde-del-jb-un-esfuerzo-colaborativo\/","title":{"rendered":"Rehabilitation of the JB Green Roof: A Collaborative Effort"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the goal of eliminating moisture leaks in the offices and optimizing the green roof system of the Botanical Garden, installed in 2012, a comprehensive rehabilitation project was carried out, this time implementing modular technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Actions Taken:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Removal of plants, substrate, and deteriorated waterproofing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleaning and surface preparation, including repair of edges and application of sealant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of new mesh and waterproofing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of a new gutter and 1.5 mm geomembrane to ensure impermeability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application of waterproofing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparation and installation of over 1,000 <strong>trays with plants.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Office maintenance, including painting and repair of affected surfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Area Intervened:<\/strong> 250 m<sup>2.<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Project That Brought People Together<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This initiative was made possible thanks to the valuable collaboration of different teams and generous donors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Over 1,000 trays, substrate, and parapet<\/strong>donated by Eng.
