It is the work of sculptor Luis Ortiz Monasterio and covers an L-shaped surface of 1,250 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through eight bas-relief scenes, the fountain narrates the life of Nezahualc\u00f3yotl, Lord of Texcoco, from his birth in 1402 to his death in 1473. The scenes depict significant moments such as his birth, the death of Ixtlilx\u00f3chitl, the dream of Tezoz\u00f3moc, the conquest of Azcapotzalco, the formation of the Triple Alliance, the introduction of Chapultepec\u2019s water to Tenochtitl\u00e1n, the coronation of Nezahualpilli, and his death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the center of the fountain rises the figure of the tlatoani, carved in black Xaltocan stone.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Es considerada una de las fuentes m\u00e1s monumentales del bosque.
