Herrera in 1923, the Chapultepec Zoo is one of Mexico City\u2019s most iconic landmarks. Here, visitors can learn about more than 200 animal species from Mexico and around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This wildlife sanctuary currently houses over 1,200 specimens, including endangered species such as the giant panda and the Mexican wolf.
